Is India a Good Travel Destination?

Good Travel Destination

A single word answer; “Yes!”, is a good travel destination.

But if you’re interested in finding out why and how it is a good travel destination, I’ll share everything in detail:

Why India?

India is a beautiful land of 1.3 billion individuals who belong to different religions. So you get to see a variety of lifestyle out there.

Also, it is a place where the old heritage lives, you can visit the old monuments and have a closer look at how the old people used to live, how they spent their life, what was luxury at that moment and so on. / What Is The Best Place In India To Visit? /

Visiting India For The First Time

Here are a few good reasons to visit India and an answer to how it is a good travel destination:

#1. It’s Cheap

The first reason for visiting India is that it is comparatively cheap. For just a few bucks, you can have food, accommodate and travel by local to visit the tourist spots.

The World Economic Forum reports that India ranks 10th best for price competitiveness. You can get around the Taj Mahal, old monuments and great architecture built by Mughals with just a few bucks.

Local transport, train transport, and dedicated taxi services are there; it’s up to you which one you choose that fits your budget.

#2. The Food

The Food In India

The second thing that comes to mind when visiting a country is the food available there. India has got the world’s tastiest restaurants to be honest. The food there is amazing in terms of taste and price.

In 10$, you can easily have meal servings twice a day. The restaurants cook and fry most of the Asian dishes that will create memories forever.

For most of my travel friends, food is the only reason behind visiting India again like twice a year. Chatpata Kabab, Chicken & Mutton Karahi, Qorma, Roghni Naan, and Parathas are what I liked the most.

#3. The Madness of the Capital – Delhi

India’s capital – Delhi is a dream city right now. It has got everything from temples to comedy shows happening late at night.

You may find Muslims’, Hindus’ and Sikhs’ regional places all around but the ones you should explore are the old ones. As you take an early morning walk, you will find yoga classes in parks and find lavish Hindu temples full of people with prayers. The prayer calls “Azaan” is right there on time from every mosque that is present in the city.

In simple words, you get a closer look at a buzzy city that never sleeps. If you like late-night lifestyle and looking forward to having entertainment scenes at midnight, India has got Delhi to -plan a visit.

#4. The Wagah Border Ceremony

The Wagah Border Ceremony has made India a unique country to visit.

In the present situation, it is a symphony between Pakistan and India. In the Ceremony, there’s a parade from both countries and the crowd energy is unimaginable. The crowd cheering and the ‘strong’ parades from both sides make your trip memorable.

#5. Live like the old people used to:

We all are aware of the luxurious lifestyle of Mughal kings the subcontinent had a few years ago. The Indian government has turned their homes and spaces into hotels and restaurants that were five stars at that time.

Living in the past is quite an awesome experience and you can live like a king to experience the real lifestyle. Various palaces are opened, some of them are located right in between the water.

#6. The Wildlife

Elephant in India

Whatever choice you have for a travel destination, you can’t ignore a closer look at natural creatures that India offers.

Visiting India was the most adventurous experience, I got a chance to see lions, tigers and other unusual beasts from a distance of a few inches.

Giant elephants are seen to be enjoying the rain and water, similarly, we have rufous-bellied hawk eagles and rhinos to have an unforgettable experience.

#7. Hiking the Himalayas

Hiking the Himalayas in India

Last but not least, the final hiking at the Himalayas was literally a surprise for me. I never imagined the adventurous and hiking groups there in Asian countries. As I reached the Himalayas, I met a few locals who were also planning to hike the whole day. I felt it risky at first considering their conversation to be a scam but I ended up watching the world from thousands of feets height.

What are you waiting for?

I have shared everything that I experienced in India. Make sure you stay active during the travel and ask for online reviews before trying out services to have the minimum issues.

After all, my experience was undoubtedly great and I would always say “YES!” to whoever asks for a recommendation to travel India or not?
