O gentle St. Francis of Assisi,
beloved friend of all living creatures,
you who saw in every bird and beast the reflection of God’s goodness,
look with kindness upon my dear animal in need of healing.
Blessed patron of creation,
you spoke to the sparrows and comforted the frightened,
you tended to the wounded and the weak.
Please intercede for the one I now hold in my heart.
May the Lord, through your prayers,
restore health to this beloved creature,
ease its pain, calm its spirit,
and surround it with peace and protection.
Grant wisdom and compassion to those who care for animals,
that they may act with tenderness and respect for all of God’s creatures.
St. Francis, guardian of the helpless and companion of the humble,
teach us to love without limits and to honor all life as sacred.
Through your intercession,
